JUST IN TIME FOR PESACH--KORAN 17:103-4 (see end of page 291):
Pharoah said to him: 'Moses, I see that you are bewitched.'

You know full well,' he replied, 'that none but the L_rd of the heavens and the earth has revealed these visible signs. Indeed, Pharoah, I can see that you are doomed.'

He sought to scare them out of the land: but we drowned him, together with all who were with him. Then We said to the Israelites: 'Dwell in the land. When the promise of the hereafter comes to be fulfilled, We shall assemble you all together.'
I know it is not as simple as this, but seriously--does the Koran ever explicitly abrogate this command? [Hat Tip: Stephen Schwartz]

it didn't abrogate it, they just mainly ignored it, much as a lot of Christianity ignores far more explicit statements about the right of Jews to Israel
